Safety Measures

Safety First!

Why is Safety Important

Keeping schools safe allows children to look forward to being in an encouraging environment that promotes social and creative learning. When their basic safety needs aren’t met, children are at risk for not feeling comfortable at school and may stop showing up, or they may remain on edge throughout the day. Promoting school safety creates an open space for kids to explore, learn and grow.

Three Steps to Safety

We take care of safety Every Step Of The Way

A safe learning environment is essential for students of all ages.
Without it, they are unable to focus on learning the skills needed for a successful education and future.
Here are our 3 steps to safety:

01
Frame Safety Guidelines
02
Implement Safety Measures
03
Adhere to it diligently

Safety Checklist

We diligently adhere to these guidelines.

Fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency signage are installed across all floors. Regular fire drills and safety checks are conducted.
All electrical fittings are regularly inspected and maintained. No student is allowed near electrical panels.
Play areas are supervised and maintained. Sports are conducted with proper gear and staff supervision.
Drinking water is filtered and tested. Water tanks are cleaned periodically. No open water sources exist on campus.
Labs have proper ventilation, restricted access, and necessary equipment to handle emergencies.
Buses have GPS, CCTV, female attendants, and verified drivers. Emergency contact info is shared with all parents.

Safety Guidelines

Each student is expected to adhere to these guidelines.

Running can cause injuries. Always walk calmly inside the building.
Maintain distance and avoid crowding to prevent accidents.
This ensures smooth and safe two-way movement during transitions.
Never skip steps while climbing or descending. Use handrails.
Restricted areas must be avoided at all times for safety and security.

Touch Awareness Workshop

It’s extremely important to teach young children about “Good Touch Bad Touch” to help prevent child molestation. Most of the time, targets are very young children, below 12 years of age. They are too young to understand the difference between right and wrong.

Good Touch – Bad Touch

Workshop to make students aware of what is considered a good touch and what is considered a bad or improper touch when someone touches them, is conducted twice a year in SVPV. So that small kids and girl students can speak up and report it to mother or a teacher as soon as she identifies a bad touch. It’s conducted in Grade 1 to 6.
